My name is Corey Wayne from Saint Paul Minnesota,
I'm in my late thirties, I used to be a wannabe screen writer when I was in early twenties, and guess I still do if I'm writing this post. I did the whole query letter and contest thing, and did get a option deal and did place in a contest which amounted to nothing. I finally gave up due to not being creative, but I have poor English skills like punctuation and sentence structure, amongst other issues that don't allow agents or contests to take me seriously. So I stopped and started a family and build online auctions for a living, but I can not get these movie idea's out of my head. So I'm going put out some of my ideas and anyone is free to use them. I want no money, but just credit if anyone use's them. I'm putting these out there, otherwise these idea's would just die in my head. If you want to use an idea, I can help write it and share the credit, or have no involvement but a writer credit. Here are a few of my ideas.
This is a teleplay that placed in a contest, Its called "The Red Light District". I wrote a pilot, but now that I look back, it needs work. It was registered with the WGA.
It is about a marijuana grower from the US set in the eighties, who is on the run for growing marijuana. He and his girlfriend run to Amsterdam and start a new life, while there he saves a prostitute from being beat up by her pimp, and gets a job in the coffee shop. The girlfriend is a recovering heroin addict, but relapses when a street dealer gives her some for free.
My Ideas for future episodes, are the pimps retaliation, falls in love with prostitute, conflict with street dealer, helps to grow hydroponics, and the bounty hunter that comes after him for jumping bail.
This Idea is a screenplay that was optioned by Zinkler Films for a year. They made me rewrite it a few times. Its called "Down In Mazatlan" This is the original idea.
This is about four kids on spring break in Mazatlan Mexico.They do the whole party thing and decide to go with a cab driver to get some drugs on the outskirts of town. They get in a fight with the cab driver and are abandoned in a seedy part of town, they walk around and see a girl being raped and them murdered by a group of men, they are discovered and chased but get away. They decide to report the murder to the local police, but when they walk into the police station they see the murders are the police. They are chased and then murdered. There bodies are mixed in with ground meat served in hotdogs sold on the street. A guy hanging up a missing sign of the four kids buys one.
This one is a screenplay called "Bigfoot Crossing"
Its about a guy and his best friend who just got back form the war and is having post traumatic problems. They love to hunt and hunt some new land that one of them purchased in a remote area of woods. They set up a trap camera and capture a video of a bigfoot looking creature. One of them posts the video and they become viral stars and so does the little town near the woods where the video was shot. They are called frauds, and gets to them and they become obsessed with hunting the bigfoot. They get older and one becomes a crazy man in the woods. The other discovered it was a plot hatched by the local store owner and land owner to bring tourism to his area, he then hurts the store owner and tries to help his friend but finds him dead, mauled to death.
This is just an idea for a story, it has no title, but something with love in it.
It's about a beautiful perfect couple who have everything and finally have the baby they were trying so hard to have. The baby grows up to around five and is suddenly killed by meningitis or some other awful way and they are heart broken and in despair. They are wrecked and make a suicide pact. He is to shoot her then himself, but when it comes to it he points the gun at her and say's "sorry I can't", he then puts the gun in his mouth and kills himself. She freaks out and tries to kill herself but can't
and just rolls around on the ground crying. She gets into drugs and sleeping around, trying to die by an OD or by other ways.
Finally she is all high in a store when two cops come in, she begins to flirt with them and they flirt back. She rubs one of there legs and takes his gun and shoots one of them, he is alive but she points the gun at the other cop, and he shoots and kills her.
